Talk about Dresses be it your Wedding prom or another special occasion
There are certain body types that will be flattered by certain shapes and silhouettes of dresses and choosing between these dresses can be a great way to ensure that you look your best while you are attending the prom.
What prom dress styles are best suited for those with an hourglass figure? The traditional ball gown can be worn to compliment an hourglass figure, as there is often a corset style top of the gown that is designed into the style of the dress. This has the ability to pull everything in and therefore reduce the appearance of wide hips, through the waist, which is cinched. This can be an effective way to create an even more appealing sense of the hourglass figure, when dressing for prom.
For those that are shopping for a prom dress for a boyish figure, consider choosing dresses which can add curves to the body. Traditional ball gowns may overwhelm the figure, and therefore choosing gowns that have understated skirts and details within the top of the gown can be an effective way to draw the eye upward, creating attention through the top of the dress that can help to add volume to the figure.
When choosing dresses to try and disguise certain body parts that you may be uncomfortable with, consider choosing a halter style dress for a large bust to provide the formal nature of the dress, while providing the support that is necessary. To disguise thighs that you may be uncomfortable with, consider choosing a traditional ball gown that can disguise all of the figure flaws that occur below the natural waist.
